PottyCover -review

I was given the opportunity to review PottyCovers, and I'm so glad for it!

My son, over the years, has actually changed his *ahem* schedule so that he does not have to go #2 at school.  This happened because he saw a child at his preschool use the toilet (without a cover) and left something behind.  It's scarred him. (not that I can say it's a bad thing...public toilets ARE gross)

I am pretty particular about using public toilets, having to make sure they're completely covered, but as a woman, it's not like I can stand up or just hold it.  My husband, on the other hand, will not use them, NO MATTER WHAT.

So when I heard about Potty Covers, I was intrigued.  We all know and use regular toilet seat covers when we're out.  These have become so popular that you can buy small packages with a few in it folded up, for those times that the stall is out, or the store doesn't offer them.

The problem with regular toilet seat covers, is they barely cover the toilet seat itself.  For little kids, who ALWAYS grab the toilet seat to stablize themselves, this is a huge problem.  Icky!!

PottyCover has made it easy for parents to let their children use public toilets, without the concern of them picking up some fecal borne illness (and trust me, there are plenty!) from touching the toilets in an effort to steady themselves.  Not only does PottyCover cover the toilet seat enough for little hands to hold it, but it's got a long piece that extends the full front of the toilet, keeping little kids' clothes from touching the front of the toilet (which, I might add, is a really gross part... picture missed-aim!)

I now have a potty cover in a baggie in my son's backpack, for that (eventual) day that he HAS to go to the bathroom at school.  We have 2 in the glove compartment in the car, and there is one in my purse.  This way, the next time we're out at the grocery store, and my son gives me that look and says "I HAVE to go", I don't have to drop everything, ask them to hold my cart, and run him home.

PottyCover is a disposable toilet seat cover for children that covers the sides and the front of the toilet, to keep away germs at public rest-rooms.  It is made of non-woven fabric coated with a layer of plastic, creating a waterproof barrier between the toilet and the child. This product has the largest coverage of all seat covers on the market and for added convenience, each seat cover is individually packaged in a small, easy to open bag that makes it super easy to always keep one or two in a purse or a back pocket.

Using a public rest-room with a young child could be very stressful, but with PottyCovers the whole family can feel safe knowing that even at the filthiest bathrooms they will be protected from germs. We designed this product for kids, but it has become a must-have travel item for many of our adult customers.
A pack of PottyCover sells for $5.99 and it is available on Amazon, Ebay, all Buy Buy Baby stores around the country and at select Bed Bath & Beyond stores.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
