Rent A Timeshare

What is a Time share rental
It is basically renting out someone else's vacation timeshare. There are many advantages to renting a timeshare, especially for a budget-friendly family vacation. Time share rentals typically cost up to 50% less than hotel rooms, especially when rented directly from the owner.

What is RedWeek.Com?
Offering family friendly vacations on a budget, RedWeek.com's marketplace is full of vacation rentals everywhere.  Travelers come to RedWeek.com to rent or buy timeshares units directly from the owner, often at tremendous savings compared with hotels or dealing with the resort itself.  With over 1.5 million members, you can find the perfect vacation rental for yourself, or find someone to rent out your own timeshare.

There are several advantages of a membership at RedWeek.
  • Search for your next timeshare rental by state or country, you can find your next vacation 10 miles away, or 1,000!  You can even search by amenities!  Need a pet-friendly resort?  How about one that's all inclusive?  No problem!  At RedWeek, you can search using a number of amenities, to make sure you have everything you need on your next vacation!
  • Forums, for you to ask and answer questions, get information, and even get travel tips and advice
  • Resources: EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about timeshares, including a complete FAQ!!   Get information about renting, buying and exchanging.  Find out about the points systems used, and even read up on the pro's & con's of timeshares.

Why a timeshare?

1)      Timeshare rentals typically cost up to 50% less than comparable hotel rooms.  This allows families on a budget to vacation at luxury resorts and hotels that would otherwise not be in their budget.
2)      They are spacious:  You can choose the size of unit you want, giving you the ability to give the kids their own room!  A timeshare is your home, away from home.  Units typically have separate bedrooms, living room, balcony or lanai, and kitchen with dining area.   And best of all – maid service will clean it, keep it supplied with fresh towels and linens, and even carry out the garbage!
3)      Most come with a kitchen so you can save money not eating out for every meal.
Being budget concious does not mean cheap, but we all know that saving money on meals is difficult, especially when visiting another city. Most timeshare rentals come with a fully equipped kitchen, allowing you the ability to prepare your own meals, saving on the cost of restaurant prices. You can eat when you want, wake up and hit the fridge...just like at home!
4)      Things to do: Most are attached to a resort (hotel) where many of the amenities (waterpark features, children’s playgrounds, arcade game rooms, etc.) are included in the low rental price.  Many resorts have their own amenities, including swimming pools, weight rooms,  and game room.  The units themselves have tv's, often with dvd players and cable as well as WIFI or internet access.

Why I like RedWeek:

I own a timeshare myself, I have since 2001. We used to go on lots of vacations, before our younger son was born. He is special needs, and that makes it very hard for us to go on a vacation.

RedWeek.com allows you to rent out your timeshare, giving you money in your pocket, and keeping your weeks or points from going to waste.

The website itself is very user friendly, but not too busy.  You can do searches based on your own criteria: search the dates you want to travel,  by location or resort name.
One feature I love is the reviews.  You can read up on any resort you want, and get the information they provide (amenities, size etc) but there's nothing like reading what the customers say!  You can read reviews from actual vacationers, and find out what they liked or loved!  Best of all, you can even rate them yourself!  Took a vacation last year, and loved the customer service? Wished they had ice-machines?  Here, you can tell others, and share your experience.

I did a search for a vacation I would love to be able to take...my dream vacation, is to visit Hawaii.
Lucky for me, Hawaiian Vacations has it's own link on the 'find a timeshare' search page, making it easy to find what you want.  It allowed me to choose by island or city. I chose Honolulu, with a travel date of 2/17/13 to 2/24/13 (my anniversary!) and the cost was $995 - $142 per night.
I decided to do a comparison...From the hotel's website.  It was $289 PER NIGHT.  That's double!
Wanting to be thourough, I checked another site, again, the same hotel.  The cheapest price they offered was $239.04 per night.  Still over $100 more per night!  RedWeek would save me between $700 and $1024 for my one week vacation!

I would HIGHLY recommend checking out RedWeek for all of your vacationing needs.  What could be better than saving your family money when it comes to traveling?  Why stay at a hotel with a few features, when you can stay at a luxurious resort with spacious rooms, full kitchens, tons of activities for the whole family, all while saving you 50%!

  2. my brother has one or two timeshares, I will have to mention this to him... I know a few times he's not used his timeshares, which of course he still has to pay for. so this would be a good thing for him to look into for sure.

Owning a timeshare vacation property for holiday and vacation use makes a lot of sense. If you love taking your holidays at prime vacation and resort destinations like timeshare rentals or rent timeshare, you will often have better accommodations at a lower price with buy timeshare ownership.
However, the link he "creatively" inserted with his keywords, rent timeshare has been "creatively" removed. Starting a blogger account SIMPLY to spam people with link is STILL SPAM!
