I don't know about you, but I find myself using more laundry detergent than "necessary" (according to the dispensing guidelines on the bottles) simply to get my laundry smelling OH SO FRESH. It happens... I want my laundry smelling like my mom's. I don't know why, but her laundry ALWAYS smells awesome. My kids ask me to wash clothes at mom's, so it "smells like Grandma" Of course, I could just use the detergent she does, but she has some high-powered (read: expensive) washer and a septic system, which means that she basically uses VERY expensive detergent.
