So those awesome people over at Daddyscrubs have graciously allowed me to review their
I'm The Daddy Hoodies.
When I had my husband put on the hoodie for the picture, our son, L.S., went and grabbed the daddyscrubs shirt and put it on (he put it on backwards, just to show HE'S THE DADDY) and then they went at it, trying to best eachother... watch it and tell me,
Who is the daddy in this house???
Daddy, in his hoodie
And of course L.S. had to wear it, because Daddy wore it!!
(but as he said, "I look cooler in it than daddy does!")
This hoodie was SO comfortable, I found myself wearing it before my husband had a chance to try it on! When he FINALLY did get to put it on, his first words were "Ohhhh... this is warm!" yup.. that's why I've commandeered it!! :)
The fabric itself is made of 100% cotton. When I went to double check what it was made of, I went to the obvious place (nape of the neck) and found what I initially thought was 'tagless' info, but in it's place, they've put into words exactly how I feel. It is not 'overly heavy' so you can wear it even on a warmer day and not be horribly hot.
Any man can be a father, bit it takes someone special to be a Daddy!
This is so true... From the time my older son was 3 until 13, my husband was his DADDY. The fact that this sentiment is shared by DaddyScrubs just makes me love them even more.
The hoodie is easy to put on, and the neck area is large, so it'll fit over even the biggest of heads!! It's got a drawstring for easy closure, and comes in sizes from small to 2X, to fit most men. My husband is pretty large, and the 2X fit him great.
While with the scrubs, I suggested double checking the size chart, and perhaps purchasing a size smaller than normal, with the hoodie, your normal sweatshirt size should work perfectly.
It's a very comfortable shirt that can be worn anywhere. From the movie theater to casual day at work, you really don't have anywhere you can't wear it. Going on a trip? I'd suggest wearing your DaddyScrubs hoodie. Why? Because of it's superior comfort. Since there is no tag on the neck, you won't spend those several hours on the plane itching your neck.
Normally I can compare a product with another on the market, to give an idea of value, but honestly, I've never come across a more unique set of items than offered through this company. I am so enthralled by their products... I absolutely love them.
Now while I have ABSOLUTELY no intention on having more kids... (my special needs one pretty much determined I'm not having more...) I will still be buying from them soon. There are several of the books I want to buy, plus, I really want to get my husband their I'm the Daddy tee.

(I totally wish I'd had this to give to my husband when our son was born!!!!)
is the aaah-inspiring offspring of Robert "Daddy" Nickell, who fathered his first four children more than 20 years ago. DaddyScrubs was conceived when Robert, who remarried in 2007, discovered he was about to become a father again in the fall of 2009! Not wanting to endure the pain of wearing uncomfortable street clothes while comforting his laboring wife, Robert hatched his idea to create special doctorlike scrubs for himself. It seemed a natural thing for him to do – Robert is a pharmacist by profession. To eliminate any confusion over “Who’s The Doctor?” and “Who’s The Daddy?” Robert came up with the concept of the I’m the Daddy™ medical scrubs. And naturally, he named them DaddyScrubs!
